Sandy Taylor, Vocalist


Sandy is a New York-based singer/actor, a member of Actors' Equity She has appeared in numerous professional productions and cabaret venues in New York, New Jersey, and regionally. Sandy also sings with Kinnara Ensemble, the Northeast's premiere vocal ensemble ( and serves as the New York regional director for The Yuletide Carolers (


Sandy is also the leader of her own jazz trio, the Sandy Taylor Band, which plays in a variety of clubs in New York and New Jersey. Her first studio-recorded album, 'Standard Deviations' was released in June 2013, featuring two-time Grammy-nominated pianist/arranger, Benito Gonzalez. Album available on iTunes and addition to performing, Sandy is also a passionate teaching artist. She serves as a Private Voice Instructor and Adjunct Professor of Acting at Montclair State University, as well as a voice teacher for the applied lesson program at Roxbury Highschool.
